Welcome to York South Holiday Lodges & Seasonal Pitches.
At York South we offer 12 month Seasonal Pitches to touring caravans or motor homes. Our site is open all year with holiday licence. (We do not have a residential licence and therefore nobody can live on site in their caravan)
We promote ourselves as offering a quiet, peaceful & relaxing holiday park for our guests. We don't have any children's facilities so obviously most of our Seasonal pitches are occupied by more mature adults seeking a relaxing break. If you are looking for a seasonal pitch and you have a teenager you are still welcome to take a seasonal pitch though please be aware that we are a quiet site in open countryside and don't have a play park, games field, bike park etc....
Location North Yorkshire, 20 minutes from York, 10 minutes from the A1, M62, M1 motorways.
Our site is perfect for those seeking a peaceful & relaxing break within an immaculately clean & well-maintained site, boasting pristine shower / wc facilities, with the added bonus of having easy access to York and surrounding areas.
Our Seasonal Pitches include:
- Hard standing for a caravan & car
- AstroTurf awning base (awning can be left up all year)
- Grassed garden area
- Fresh water tap on every pitch
- 16a electric hookup (electric usage metered (lockable) and payable separately, use as much or as little as you like).
The site offers:
- An immaculately kept Amenities block with washing machine/tumble dryer
- Dog friendly (max 3) (we also have a warm water dog shower)
- Site lighting at night
- Security, Electric gates at the entrance & exit
- CCTV coverage with customer access to view online
- Open all year with a 12 month holiday licence
- You are also welcome to take your caravan off touring as often as you like.
- Environmentally Friendly (recycling / green toilet fluid)
We are pet friendly and welcoming well behaved dogs with responsible owners. Although we don't have a dedicated dog walk on site your dog's can be walked around site and there are loads of off site dog walks in a short distance from us.
Tariff, paid monthly:
Payable monthly by bank standing order on the 1st of each month (plus deposit of 3 x monthly tariff which covers your 3-month notice period)
The monthly contract is for a minimum of 12 months with a 3-month notice / cancellation period, therefore on or after month 9 the contract can be cancelled by giving us your 3 months notice. Once the 12-month period has been completed the contract continues as a monthly rolling-contract with 3 months’ notice to leave site / exit the contract.
Tariff, paid annually:
The contract is for a 12 months period but we still require a 3-month notice / cancellation period, therefore we will write to you three months before the end of the contract asking you to confirm either:
1) to renew the annual contract starting at the end of your initial 12 month period.
2) To Convert the contract to a rolling monthly tariff after the initial 12 month period (this will happen automatically if not renewed or terminated).
3) Give us 3 months notice in writing to terminate your seasonal pitch contact.
We don't have a traditional start / end date each year for Seasonal pitches. A new Seasonal pitch contract begins when a pitch becomes available, usually because an existing pitch holder has given notice to leave.
Our geographical location:
Positioned in open countryside, we are 3/4 mile outside Cawood village which offers 3 dog friendly public houses, traditional village shop with post office/deli counter/cafe & garden centre with cafe. Supermarkets are a 5-minute car journey away.
Good motorway links with the A1, M62, M1 & A19
Easy Access to York and surrounding areas including the Yorkshire Moors, Yorkshire Dales, Peak District, East Coast etc.
We are hoping to offer super fast WiFi some time this summer though in the meantime you can get a good 4g signal with both Vodafone, O2, Giffgaff and Tesco's. We use Vodafone and get unlimited calls, texts and 115gb of data for £20 per month.
