This is the privacy notice of York South Limited. In this document, "we", "our", or "us" refer to York South Limited.

Who we are?
Under data protection law we are the ‘Data Controller’ of the personal information that we collect about you and as the data controller we have certain legal responsibilities concerning how we collect, use and share your personal information. We must inform you about this.
What information do we collect?
Whether you book online or by telephone we will only ask you for the information we need to complete your booking. This will usually be your name, home address, email address & contact phone/mobile number, details on your unit (ie. caravan/motorhome/campervan etc) & vehicle registration number.
All our bookings are processed through the Campmanager booking system, our ‘Data Processor’, who will hold your details on their systems so that any subsequent bookings you make with us will be quicker and more efficient to make.
York South Limited will never pass your details to any third parties.
All card payments for online and telephone bookings are processed through SagePay with any face to face payments being processed through SagePay or Sum Up. York South Limited or the Campmanager booking system do not hold any of your card processing data.
At the point of payment, you are transferred to a secure page on the website of SagePay. This page may be branded to look like a page on our website, but it is not controlled by us.
How do we use personal information?
We will use your personal data to email/post your booking confirmation and other related information regarding your booking.
This information may include:
- your name, age and address;
- your phone number or mobile number and e-mail address;
- Telephone calls may be recorded.
- details of the bookings or purchases you make and the services you request;
- information you complete in relation to any client surveys or competitions;
- CCTV/Drone footage in which you feature may be taken when you visit our premises for marketing purposes.
in the event that you have an accident while on our premises that you bring to our attention, we may record details of that accident and any injury you suffer in an accident log.
If you provide us with personal information about another person, you must ensure that before you provide us with their personal information, you have their agreement to do so and that they are aware of the ways in which we use personal information as set out in this policy.
What legal basis do we have for processing your personal data?
When you create an account on our website, buy a product or service from us, or otherwise agree to our terms and conditions, a contract is formed between you and us.
In order to carry out our obligations under that contract we must process the information you give us. Some of this information may be personal information.

Where do we store and process personal data?
All our bookings are processed through the Campmanager booking system, our ‘Data Processor’, who will hold your details on their systems so that any subsequent bookings you make with us will be quicker and more efficient to make.
Do we secure personal data?
All data within our Campmanager system is stored on servers in a secure UK data centre which complied with the ISO 27001 information security standard.
All Campmanager data is transferred securely over SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) 256-bit encryption. All data and customer data is encrypted and transmitted securely.
How long do we keep your personal data for?
Personal data is stored for as long as the individual can be considered a customer.
Your rights in relation to personal data

Marketing/Promotions
Customers who have given their consent to marketing/promotions will be emailed through MailChimp. If a customer chooses to unsubscribe, their customer record within CampManager will be automatically updated.
Information from Third parties
Although we do not disclose your personal information to any third party (except as set out in this notice), we sometimes receive data that is indirectly made up from your personal information from third parties whose services we use
Third party advertising on our website
Third parties may advertise on our website. In doing so, those parties, their agents or other companies working for them may use technology that automatically collects information about you when their advertisement is displayed on our website.
They may also use other technology such as cookies or JavaScript to personalise the content of, and to measure the performance of their adverts.
We do not have control over these technologies or the data that these parties obtain. Accordingly, this privacy notice does not cover the information practices of these third parties
